Fellow Conservatives,

As Chairman of the Greenwood County Republican Party, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your continued dedication to our shared conservative values. It's not just during election season that your involvement matters it's every day that we build a stronger, freer, and more accountable local government, rooted in the principles that make our country great.

Our community in Greenwood has long been a stronghold for Republican values-faith, family, freedom, and fiscal responsibility. But these values are under constant pressure from an increasingly radical left, both nationally and even at the state level. That's why our local efforts matter now more than ever.

What We've Accomplished

Over the past year, we've made great strides:

  • Turnout in local elections was higher than ever, with Republican candidates winning critical races.
  • We've hosted town halls and forums to keep voters informed and engaged-not just about national issues, but about decisions being made right here in Greenwood.
  • Our local GOP volunteers have logged hundreds of hours registering voters, canvassing, and supporting conservative candidates who are committed to transparent, accountable leadership.

What's Next

We aren't slowing down. As we head into the 2026 election cycle, we're focused on:

  • Recruiting strong conservative candidates for county council, school board, and beyond. We need leaders who will put Greenwood families first.
  • Expanding our outreach to young voters, church communities, and minority groups who share our values but have been overlooked by both parties.
  • Training and equipping volunteers with the tools and resources to defend our values at every level-from local zoning boards to Washington, DC.

A Call to Action

This isn't just about elections-it's about the future of Greenwood County. It's about standing up for our children's education, protecting small businesses, defending law enforcement, and preserving our God-given freedoms I encourage each of you to get involved. Attend our monthly meetings, volunteer for an event, or simply talk to your neighbors about why conservative principles work. We hold our monthly meetings the 2nd Monday of each month at the YMCA on Calhoun Road. Join our Facebook page or simply sign up to receive emails for our local party to stay informed.

Together, we are more than a political party. We are a movement. And in Greenwood, that movement is just getting started.

Thank you for standing with us.

In liberty,

Glenda Corley
