We Will Never Forget — September 11, 2001

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the firefighters, police officers, first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans who answered tragedy with extraordinary bravery.

We also remember those who have served and sacrificed in the fight against terrorism in the years since. We remain committed to protecting our nation, defending our freedoms, and standing against those who use terrorism and violence against innocent people.

May we never forget the victims, the heroes, and the unity America showed in the face of evil.

God bless their families, our men and women in uniform, and the United States of America.
